Dr. Partha Jyoti Das is an environmental scientist with special interest in the area of  Water, climate change and disasters. He has done several research works during the last two decades on inter-disciplinary areas in the interface of natural sciences, environmental sciences and social sciences. He works with communities, Civil Society Organisations as well as Government agencies for awareness, education research and policy advocacy on the water-environment-development nexus. Dr. Das has been associated with Aaranyak since 2001 . Currently he is an Executive Committee member of Aaranyak who is leading Water Climate and Hazard Division(WATCH) of Aaranyak.
