Our Mission
Northeast India is home to many threatened and endemic wildlife, but illegal wildlife trafficking threatens their exitance. At Legal and Advocacy Division (LAD), we’re taking powerful strides against wildlife crime through our D.E.T.E.R.S (Disrupt and End Trade of Endangered and Rare Species) initiative to protect these species through the efforts of the Community Surveillance and Monitoring Team (CSMT).
Our Goal
Raise INR 5 Lakhs to equip and empower the CSMT with the tools, training and resources needed to deter wildlife crime in Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.

Funding Requirements
Field Gear: Safe, durable equipment for CSMT members in rugged conditions.
- INR 1000 = one headlamp
- INR 1200 = one trekking shoe or one winter sweater/jacket
- INR 1200 = one rechargeable torch and battery
- INR 1000 = one good quality raincoat
- INR 4400.00 per person for combination of all above. Field gears includes raincoat, winter sweater/jacket, trekking shoes and headlamps.
- INR 3000.00 per medical kit. Comprehensive first aid kits contain essential medical supplies for treating injuries and emergencies encountered during monitoring.

All donations to Aaranyak directly impact our organisation and help us further our mission. They are exempt from tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Valid only for donations in Indian Rupees by Indian citizens.
