HELP ASSAM RISE

The recent floods in Eastern Assam have brought immense hardship, destroying homes, livelihoods, and essential belongings. Families across the region are yet struggling to rebuild their lives.

Aaranyak’s Response

Standing in solidarity, Aaranyak’s members and staff came together through voluntary contributions to launch flood relief efforts in Sivasagar, Charaideo, and Jorhat districts. In the first phase, our team visited Dorikamari village of Jorhat district, met affected families, listened to their experiences, and provided relief kits with hygiene and safety essentials to 70 households.

This initiative reflects Aaranyak’s commitment to supporting communities with care and dignity during times of crisis.

Extending Support Further

We, now, are planning to reach more families across flood‑impacted landscapes of Eastern Assam, working sensitively to local needs and circumstances to aid recovery and rebuilding of lives and livelihoods.
